In response to The Daily Post’s writing prompt: “Treat.”
As fate would have it, just this morning Lou and I practiced waiting for our treats:
She was a great sport…
…at first. But after a minute or two of waiting, she started to lose her patience, and she gave me this look:
Patience is a virtue, Lou.
For those of you who celebrate Halloween, I hope it was a treat!(see what I did there?)
I stayed in and did what I do best: homework.
But now its November: a time to turn back the clocks or turnover a new leaf (I’m on a roll tonight!).
With all seriousness, the beginning of a month and the end of the week are a perfect time to reflect on what was and what will be.
And with an eye on magic, don’t forget: Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light.
